SKIN:
  • For a good make-up, natural or heavy, one thing is certain, a good base is necessary, and your skin is the most important base.
  • Your skin is your best asset. Make-up lasts better and longer on a healthy skin. Face-packs and scrubs should be used regularly, without forgetting to moisturise and moisturise !!
  • If your skin is well moisturised a foundation is not always necessary.
  • Use a concealer (liquid) on small blemishes (dark shadows, spots…) by gently patting with your finger. (never use a concealer that is darker than your skin or it will accentuate any flaws).
POWDER:
It is very important to get the colour right.
  • Translucent : gives freshness to yellow complexions
  • Pale pink : gives radiance to pale complexions
  • Apricot : brightens olive and dark complexions

For a natural effect, apply powder with a large brush.

EYES:

In general, these are the colours to use in function to the colour of your hair
Brown : shades of brown, gold, plum, deep pinks, ivory…
Blonde : colder shades such as pink, salmon, lilac, purple, grey…
Ginger : warm shades such as chocolate, copper, dark green, deep orange, peach…

Always finish off your make-up with mascara

When applying several eye colours, always use the lighter shades in the corner of the eye. Don’t forget that dark colours tend to make the eyes look smaller, where as light ones do the contrary.

EYEBROWS:
  • Always brush your eyebrows (with a special eyebrow brush).

  • Use a touch of Vaseline to hold them in place and for a natural effect.

BLUSHER:
  • Cream brusher is easier to apply and gives a more natural effect.

  • For a brighter effect, use an iridescent cream on your cheekbones and in the inner corners of your eyes.

LIPS:

Lipstick is extremely personal and instinctively most women know which colour suits them. The closer the shade is to the natural colour of your lips is the most flattering.
